Job Description
  • -Read and interpret piping drawings, isometric drawings and welding procedures.
  • -Perform welding of pipes using the required welding process, such as SMAW, GTAW/TIG or FCAW.
  • -Carry out root pass, filler and capping welds as per approved WPS.
  • -Prepare and clean pipe joints before welding.
  • -Ensure proper fit-up, alignment and weld quality.
  • -Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel or other materials as required.
  • -Perform visual inspection and correct welding defects when required.
