Job Description
  • -Read and follow lifting plans, rigging drawings and supervisor instructions.
  • -Prepare and rig pipes, spools, valves and other piping materials for lifting and installation.
  • -Select and inspect slings, shackles, chain blocks and other rigging equipment.
  • -Safely lift, move, position and align piping materials and pipe spools.
  • -Coordinate with crane operators, pipe fitters and supervisors during lifting operations.
  • -Use proper hand signals and communication during lifting activities.
