-Provide strategic leadership and end-to-end ownership of global shipping, logistics and export supply chain operations.

-Set departmental strategy, direction, systems, policies and procedures.

-Lead and develop the logistics management team.

-Manage global carrier, shipping-line and freight-forwarder strategies.

-Lead annual tenders and long-term freight contract negotiations.

-Optimize international distribution networks, routes, seaports, airports and transhipment hubs.

-Monitor KPIs including on-time delivery, freight cost, demurrage, container utilization and service levels.

-Lead supply-chain risk management and business continuity planning.

-Plan and coordinate shipping and logistics operations for timely and economical delivery.

-Manage departmental operating, capital, labour and overall budgets.

-Negotiate with shipping lines and transport agents.
