Job Description
Responsibility 1: Installation and Troubleshooting
Work Standard:
1.Execute installation works of air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment as and when needed. Conducts site surveys and
inspection. Fault -finding or problem-solving of equipment break down.
2.This role works on BMS, HVAC and CWorks system to complete planned and unplanned jobs.
3.Repair, maintain and provide technical attention to all electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems of the company –
A/C, AHU/FCU, freezers, mist lines, fridges, chillers, and others.
4.Coordinates with the AC Technician Grade-1 for works related to installation and troubleshooting.
Responsibility 2: Preventive Maintenance
Work Standard:
1.Schedule and conduct HVAC preventive maintenance.
2.Analyses equipment failures, determines cause(s) and makes necessary adjustments or repairs.
3.Check the performance of chiller, its air handling unit and chilled water systems and components as well as ensures routine
cleaning of coil units and air-handling unit filters.
Responsibility 3: Work Execution and Coordination
Work Standard:
1.Work on maintenance requests as well as cooperates with Engineers in detention of Air-conditioning failures and function
set up for factory and accommodation.
2.Overhauling of chiller, refrigeration equipment and systems, cooperate and inform the engineering store keeper on
purchase of parts.
Responsibility 4: SOP Compliance
Work Standard:
1.Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures and with applicable technical regulations and safety
standards.
2.Conducts safety compliance inspections and maintains records of the same.
3.Follow and maintain GMP, ISO, QMS, HACCP, 5-S’, Food Safety Awareness and Work Safety standards.
4.Knowledge and compliance in Pest Control Standards and practices as well as the Environmental Management System
initiatives.
5.Adhere to cost effective practices as well as continuous improvement and Kaizen encouraged in the department.
Responsibility 5: Cost Reduction.
Work Standard:
1. Create awareness among colleagues of cost factor and contribute to plant’s cost reduction program through the
implementation of KAIZEN Ideas.
2. To contribute to the ongoing efforts towards reduction of cost by providing concrete technical solutions including
better management of utilities (air conditioning, lightning) minimizing wear and tear, and avoiding loss and damage of tools
and equipment.
3. Suggests improvements in the areas of work whenever necessary.
